Line6 Floor Pod Plus

Line6 Floor POD Plus I don't think there is another company in the musical instrument industry today that has raised the bar and come as high as Line6 in such a short time. If we think the Line6 story started with an amp simulation plugin called AmpFarm and what the idea has become, well, it's amazing. The Line6 Floor POD Plus is a version of the previous Floor POD 2.0, modified for use on stage. The Floor POD was originally designed for practice purposes, but before production began, they knew that this version would only bring real commercial success if it was adapted for live use. The AMP position is used when we want to connect the POD to our existing stage amplifier. It is very important to study the Cabinet Tuning Mode chapter of the manual, because the correct setting has a decisive influence on the sound. Here is the comparison table: The comparison shows that the number of amplifier models has increased from 12 to 32, the speaker models have increased from 12 to 16, the effects have increased from 12 to 29, and the number of presets has increased. went from 64 to 124. Line 6 4x12 Effects The Floor POD Plus can also do a lot more when it comes to effects. It's no big secret when we say that the converters of more expensive devices are also better, less jitter reaches the output, which essentially colors the signal. If many people knew what kind of interventions are made with the recorded sound of another amplifier in the studio before it finally sounds good in music, then many people would be disappointed with their own beloved amplifier. Line6 is very careful, but tries to make us understand that we don't hear these amplifiers, but sound patterns BASED on their sound. The price of the Floor POD Plus is HUF 91,000. This price also includes the external power supply.

I've owned MESA/Boogies (Studio 22 combo and Studio preamp), Marshalls (JCM 800 and 900, combos and half stacks), a Laney combo, an ADA MP-1 rack preamp, and many others including I don't remember now. That said, I approached digital amp modeling with some skepticism, but I'll tell you that the Line 6 Floor POD models sound very, VERY close to the real thing. The problem with reading reviews like this is that many are written by newbies who have no idea what a good tube amp should sound like, and are annoyed because the Floor POD doesn't sound good with a $99 Fender Frontman amp or headphones. I have enough experience to know what a good tube amp looks like, as I have owned many. Also, save space, there are only 7 knobs on it, but most of them perform two functions, requiring you to press a button while adjusting the knob (the BASS knob also adjusts the mids and the TREBLE knob also adjusts the presence). There are two "crazy" models, one reproduces a Soldano head and the other is an original Line 6. This unit is ideal for recording or going straight to a PA. You'd swear you're hearing a tube amp, not a small floor-standing device. There's no USB output for recording, however - you have to use one of the two stereo outputs with a 1/8" adapter and go straight into your sound card. The first 60 of these are pre-programmed with mostly useless parameters which are obviously designed to show off the effects capabilities of the unit, but are really useless in all other respects as they are so over the top I use the Line 6 Floor POD in our church, with a MIM stratocaster (DiMarzio HS-3 bridge pickup). By that I mean the tone controls are very responsive, so getting that Marshall sound in your head might take some tweaking. As you know, the tone knobs of the Marshall amp are useless, because everyone is pushing them all to 10 Well, the Line 6 unit gives you a lot more control than a Marshall head, so there are some adjustments to be made.

Line 6 Floor Pod Plus Review

Line 6 Floor Pod

I wanted to share this story, after a long investigation and due diligence - I bought a Boss ME-70, and farked with it for almost 3 months - getting hardly anywhere - I managed to create A sound that I liked (Pink Floyd Shine) and recorded. But the best part is, any sound or song I want - I can just get (download) a patch or 3 or 4, pretty much anything, and haven't had to play with it yet buttons and start over like I was with the Boss unit. And tweaking a sound a bit, like adding a Wah or whatever, is so easily done on screen and re-recorded and renamed. (Boss lacked names for recorded patches, just numbers)

I have nothing against Boss products, but even though I'm a technical person, I didn't have the technical guts to use the thing, and the Line 6 Pod XT live is everything I wanted or needed. needed.
