Is there any opinion on metal decks vs wood blocks for floor joists? From what I can tell, metal bridge is about 30% cheaper for materials than blocking. I've read where the metal bridge gets tighter as the wood dries, but the wood blocking comes loose in the cavity as things dry and can cause squeaking.
